Hi all,

need some help to understand if we can improve the deployment process in our environments.

we are running Broker 8.0.0.4 running on windows server

servers running broker are managed by thirdy party provider. Each deployment is requested to third party, service provider issues a service request id to handle the deployment. To each service request we provide instructions, properties and bar file to deploy in the broker environment.

We want the service request id to be visible anywhere in broker (MQexplorer/mqsi* command/web console) so we can quickly understand what service request deployed a certain message flow.

is this possible ?

Hi Fjb_saper, thank you for your response.

afaik we can change the keyword value in design time, but, the requirement is to change it in deployment time. I've read the mqsiapplybaroverride but found no way to change keyword values.

But didn't the doc say something about changing it in the barfile editor? That might spill over into the barfile override but only be present if already on the barfile when doing an mqsireadbar...

And obviously your release to the 3rd party is predetermined with the release # available before development completion... As well doesn't your source control system allow you for some overrides / substitutions when downloading the source to be compiled into the bar file?
