Hi guys

I have two instances of integration bus:

1. BRKDEV – development environment
a. OS Name: Windows 8.1
b. OS Version: 6.3 Build 9600
c. Version: 9000

2. BRKUAT - user acceptance test environment
a. OS Name: Windows Server 2012
b. OS Version: 6.2 Build 9200
c. Version: 9000
Difference only in OS Version. I made a simple workflow which used an ODBC connection to the Oracle database.

On the DEV server the flow works fine, but when I run the same application on the UAT server I got an exception:

Code:
[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Driver does not support this function' (CHARACTER)

The OBDC connections are absolutely the same on the both servers. Workflows are also the same.

I found only one difference. When I invoke the command
Code:
mqsicvp BRKDEV -n MOBILEAPP_UAT

on the DEV server I got:

Code:
databaseProviderVersion      = 11.02.0000 Oracle 11.2.0.1.0
driverVersion                = 07.01.0097 (B0099, U0067)
driverOdbcVersion            = 03.52
driverManagerVersion         = [b]03.81.9200.0000[/b]
driverManagerOdbcVersion     = 03.80.0000
databaseProviderName         = Oracle

When I run this command on the UAT server I got this result

Code:
databaseProviderVersion      = 11.02.0000 Oracle 11.2.0.1.0
driverVersion                = 07.01.0097 (B0099, U0067)
driverOdbcVersion            = 03.52
driverManagerVersion         = [b]03.81.9600.0000[/b]
driverManagerOdbcVersion     = 03.80.0000
databaseProviderName         = Oracle

Difference in the driverManagerVersion = 03.81.9600.0000
Maybe this is a reason of my mistake.
Any suggestions?

There's an Oracle workarounds value, this might not be set in the non-working environment.. Doublecheck the settings against the KC.

I should check that both ODBC Data Sources in Windows have the same options/configurations enabled/disabled.

What is the sql that you are trying to execute in your code?

Compare the advanced properties of your data source on both the machines.
