It looks like IIB (message broker) is trying to embrace Websphere application Server concepts soon,

changed the naming conventions servers, nodes etc etc ?

I won't be suprised if they come up and implement Service Integration Bus on IIB as an internal MOM

And well will all have to code in (shudder) Java (shudder)

Thankfully, I'll be retired before that happens. If it comes sooner rather than later then I'll just retire sooner than planned.
I got most of my grey hair developing in ADA. That has put me off languages like Java for life.

At the WUG yesterday I was amused to see an IBM presenter still using the term "execution group".

The term "servers" is so ambiguous.

"Server process" would be better.

So, yeah, this came in with IIB v9.

And SIBus can be used from JMS nodes in well, any version that has JMS nodes...

And, WESB is dead, replaced by IIB, so making it easier for WESB admins to move to IIB makes sense.
