What's the best way to autostart QMs on RHEL 6?

The support pac MSL1 is a bit old now.

Websphere MQ 7.5.

You could use the init script from the SupportPac and run it as a service...

...all working happily for me on Ubuntu/IBM MQ v8.0

Can you elaborate on "run as a service"?

What entries (other than adding the script to /etc/init.d/) are required?

Have a look at chkconfig...

It says

Quote:
ibm.com-WebSphere_MQ 0:off 1:off 2:off 3:on 4:off 5:off 6:off

Is that correct, how are these values changed?

Google says THIS, but as to whether your values are correct is a decision for you as regards what run-levels you want it going up or down at...
