I have tried this earlier I am able to place the files in remote FTP(AS400) but the target application is not picking up.

So if they are there - what's wrong with them?

Have you done all the steps I mentioned, including using a WMB/IIB FTP configurable service defintion with transfer mode set to ASCII?

What picks them up? Is that process running? Are there any errors shown in their job log etc?

This is just normal IT investigation work.

Well, I don't think there is any question about it. It can only be attributable to human error. This sort of thing has cropped up before, and it has always been due to human error.
