Hi all,

I have removed all the queue managers and their dependencies in my cluster and still I could see the cluster not being removed from my MQ explorer toolkit. Moreover getting error "Queue manager already in cluster " when trying to add queue manager(which was removed from all cluster dependencies earlier) to full/partial repository.

Please let me know is there is any way to remove these dependencies.

Bruce....Seems like it did not work. I have issued the command long back and still the dependencies left inside cluster. Do I still need for some more time ?

How exactly did you issue the command? What parameters? Did you look at the command syntax doc?

Where did you issue the command? From a FR?

What, exactly, did you do to remove the qmgr from the cluster?

Try this command at a runmqsc prompt:
DIS CLUSQMGR(*)
1 : DIS CLUSQMGR(*)
AMQ8147: WebSphere MQ object not found.

If you got the same response as shown, try:

REFRESH CLUSTER('TheOldClusterName') REPOS(YES)

Make sure you MQ Explorer is only connected to the one Qmgr in question.

Sometimes it is very hard to remove a qmgr from an existing cluster.
If you are unable to remove the information from a specific qmgr, see if there are messages for that qmgr in the corresponding cluster XMIT queue...

These will prevent you from deleting the destination qmgr information...
