Hi I have a client who has one agent installed.. This is a CD Bridge. I have tested all connections working super using a manual setup of a transfer, specifying from file .. destination file.. (HOw) Can can I create a resource monitor to pick up the file.

I have only setup a resource monitor to call an ANT file.. I have not set it up to send a file from AGent Q (CD AGENT) to its self and just change the destination directory.

My test so far was from one agent to my CD agent.. worked.. But I will not have this other agent..

THanking you in advance

Hi matuwe,

You cannot define a Resource Monitor on a WebSphere MQ FTE Connect:Direct (C) bridge agent. See the restrictions page for the C bridge agent here:

For "standard/normal" agents, please read the following section of the Information Center and related references:

http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/wmqfte/v7r0/topic/com.ibm.wmqfte.doc/resource_monitoring.htm

If you have any specific follow-on questions, feel free to ask.

You could schedule a transfer to run frequently, every 15,10,5,X... ect minutes.
