Dear All Experts,

It is possible to specify the transferid when sending a file between 3 hosts ?

I receive a file from the web gateway, then transfer to one host with fte agent, and the this transfer is sent to another host (3rd).

My goal is to specify the transferid on the Transfer Template (FTE), so the user application get the message by the transfer id.

Hi telesguilherme,

A WebSphere MQ FTE transfer id is determined from the message id of the transfer request message that is put to the SYSTEM.FTE.COMMAND queue of an agent.

If you want to specify your own transfer id, you would need to write an application that explicitly sets the message id in the MQMD of the transfer requests submitted to your agent. None of the FTE tools (such as fteCreateTransfer) allow you to specify your own message id and it cannot be specified within the transfer request XML itself.

It is very important to be aware that the transfer ids must be unique and you must not have two different transfers with the same transfer id running concurrently in your FTE topology.
