When I publish a message from a MQTT Javascript client I do not see a way to specify the data format of the data, i.e. STRING, BINARY, or the CCSID or ENCODING of the data. When my Subscribing Application receives the data from the QMngr, for that topic, the MQMD CCSID and ENCODING are 0 and the FORMAT is BLANK. Is there a way to set these values when I send the Publish message from the Client? Or can I set something in the Topic or Subscription that tells my application what type of data it is receiving?

Thanks in advance.
