Why the cluster recevier channel has conname ?

When the auto define cluster sender and receciver channel are created ?

Because the CLUSRCVR is a model for an auto-defined CLUSSDR to get its information from...

The auto-defined CLUSSDR is defined when it needs to be - hence auto-defined - and the CLUSRCVR is defined by the Admin when the queue manager needs to be added to a cluster.

To be fair, MQ Clustering is *still* an advanced topic, and it would be handy if some roving Hursley person were to put together a youtube video with some jaunty opening music that demonstrated the concepts behind clusters, and then showed a practical example, step by step.
