OK

Not really sure about this but

We have 2 XB62 instances which will run in a Active Passive type environment.

To allow this it has been requested that both instances share a synchronisation space for configs ie if instance once goes down when instance 2 starts up it will pick the latest configs and settings.

The decision is that a single NFS shared mount will be used so that any updates to instance 1 are frem single location and the process would follow that Instance 2 would pick up when initiated.

Any thoughts?

I think what you are trying to do is a home-grown ITCAM. If you bought DataPower, why not use ITCAM for SOA ?

For your home-grown app, it seems you will be reinventing the wheel for several key concepts.

Hello,

why not keep both appliance's config in sync and handle the active passive networking via the load balancer fronting the services?
