How can I backup my MQ FTE configuration on a daily basis.

I know for MQ queue manager I can use saveqmgr script

but for MQ FTE how i can backup the entire configuration(monitors, transfer templates etc...)?

I want to set up a backup where the complete FTE configuration is backed up daily

WebSphere MQ File Transfer Edition does not provide a tool to take backups of your configuration directory.

You could write a tool yourselves in your favourite programming language or manually take a zip of the dir for example.

Your configuration directory is wherever you specified it when you installed / configured WebSphere MQ FTE for first use. For example:

C:\ProgramData\IBM\WMQFTE

For resource monitors, I suggest you use the fteCreateMonitor command with the -ox parameter to exports your resource monitor configuration to an XML file that you can then take a backup of.
