Windows 2008 R2
WMB 8.0.0.2

After running mqsisetdbparms to establish a DSN, how can one verify after the fact whether a DSN exists or not? (yeah, yeah, I could just try testing that DSN with mqsicvp)

Where on Windows are the results of mqsisetdbparms commands stored so I can see all the DSNs that have been established already?

I found the below in one IBM presentation on "What’s New In Message Broker" but not sure when the command will be available.

Quote:

Other Features Our Users Requested:

New mqsireportdbparms command
– Review configured userids for resource endpoints
– Works with all resource types: ODBC, JDBC, (S)FTP, JMS, JNDI, JDBC, Email, IMS, CICS, C:D…

Yes, its mentioned in this slide:
https://www-950.ibm.com/events/wwe/grp/grp004.nsf/vLookupPDFs/WebSphere%20Message%20Broker%20V8.0.0.1%20(Aug%2014)-1/$file/WebSphere%20Message%20Broker%20V8.0.0.1%20(Aug%2014)-1.pdf

But its not mentioned in the WMB 8 Infocenter, and the command is not recognized on my server. My Fixpack capability level is set to 'All' with an 8.0.0.2 effective level.

and it's not listed in my 8.0.0.2 or 9.0.0.0 bin folder, either.

It's possible that there's a new set of options to mqsireportbroker, or similar.

But I suspect that it got dropped from the task list.

My belief is that it's still on the aspirational list for things to be delivered soon. But I am not now nor have I ever been connected with any IBM area responsible for the implementation of this feature nor with deciding it's priority.
