I would like to correct a few things with respect to this procedure:

http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/wmqv7/v7r5/topic/com.ibm.mq.doc/qc10870_.htm

if you follow it precisely, message ends up in SDLQ on QM1, DLH reports reason MQRC_UNKNOWN_REMOTE_Q_MGR Q3. If you create qmgr alias definition given in step 3 on QM1, instead of on QM3 as instructed, DLH reports MQRC_UNKNOWN_OBJECT_NAME Q2. If you add CLUSTER(DEMO) to Q2 definition in step 1, then it works as expected. Am I right?

jcv, the way you describe it is the way I would do it. The way that page in the Infocenter explains it seems odd to me.

Peter, when you say odd, did you mean like strange literary style, or more like impossible to work that way? I ask it because the document is not changed, only relocated. Maybe I was wrong to report it in the first place?
