Is there any 'known' problem with doing the following (or is there an easier way to change all the log parameters while keeping the queue manager):

1. Changing the logging parameters in the .ini file.

2. Make a copy of the QueueManager folder.

3. Delete and recreate the QueueManager

4. Overwrite the new queuemanager folder with the copy (which contains all queue def's)

I've done it, and it works - just want to know if i am going to run into problems in the future

Thanks

Hi Greg!

If you only want to change the number of log files, you dont't need to delete and recreate the qmgr, it is enough to stop and restart it.
I case of changing the log file size in the .ini file your doing right.
But one suggestion is hold your definitions of queues etc. in a file in a different folder so you only need a copy of the logs.

regards Marc
