Hi all,

Is there a way to retrieve the timestamp of the generated COA for a received message?

Thanks in advance,

Luiz

Look in the generated COD?

I don't understand the question.

Vitor,

No, I just need the ts the COD was generated. In fact, it should be the COA.

I need to know the ts a message was put to my queue, but I can´t rely on the ts of the sender cause the time is not synchronized. So, I thought about the ts of the COA.

You want to know the time that an event occurred on a system that has an unreliable clock?

The only thing that causes a COA or a COD to be generated is the destination queue manager.

If the clock on the destination queue manager is unreliable, then there's nothing you can do to make it become reliable.

You can attempt to use activity recording to get a sequence of messages back that show you a sequence of time stamps as the message goes to the remote end.

That could potentially allow you to say "it left all reliable time measuring at *this* time, and went off into the wildness", based on when you know that the message left the last reliable queue manager.
