Hi
I am new to MQ FTE. I am currently doing a POC on the same.
I have the below design
QM15 - coordinationQMgr
QM10 - AgentQMgr (AGENT_RWF)--> Agent
QM5 - commandQMgr
All these 3 components are created successfully, but the AGENT_RWF is not published to the coordinationQMgr.
The fteListAgents provides the below result

But when i try to start the Agent, i get the below warning

Even after i stopped the QM10, I get the same error. Looks like there is another version of the Agent running, but not sure how to debug and stop it.
The Agent logs doesn't have any logs after the successful creation logs |

Have you tried stopping the running agent?

Yes, I did, i got a timeout response after 5 secs.

Actually, any request that i give to the agent, simply go and sit in the SYSTEM.FTE.COMMAND.AGENT_RWF queue. I guess it normal as the actual agent is stopped as shown in my previous post. |

find the runaway java process and kill it. Then restart the agent.

Thanks fjb_saper.
It worked, but finding the process associated was a little difficult..
While doing the same, i encountered that the fteStartAgent command is working even when the queue manager(Agent / Command) is stopped, but the fteStopAgent command throws an error "Queue Manager not available" (command queue manager).
Is this normal ?, if so, Is there a reason behind making the fteStartCommand to work even when the queue manager is stopped..
