Why are you guys saying the OP has broken his/her cluster?

Speculation only. Something is awry. In the delicate-object business (which we are in), use of sledge hammers gives us pause.

Other than this one UNCOM message, what is wrong? The OP presumes that the orphaned message is mission-critical. Are his/her applications out of balance? Is $1B missing?

I've seen little good arise from those dreaded cluster commands.

Check version of WebSphere (WAS) and fix pack levels and how it matches up with WMQ levels and fix packs... I believe at some point in time there was a problem of that kind that got fixed in a later fix pack....
