Hi,

This is just a heads-up that we have found out the hard way while upgrading our JMS (JDK 1.4.2) application to use a MQ 7.1 Client with a MQ 7.1 Server.

MQ 7.1 does not support JDK 1.4.2 (MQ 7.0.1 does).

The MQ 7.1 system requirements do not list JDK 1.4.2, which would mean that it is not supported. But, the MQ 7.1 Info Center article does not list this as a change in "Changes from Websphere version 6.0 to Websphere MQ version 7.1". To us, this is a big change and has altered our upggade plans.

I submitted a request to have the documentation include this point.
