Hi

after upgrade MQ from versin 5.3 to 6.0.2 I have strange problem - all users including user form mqm group are unavialable to perform any task with queue manager - AMQ8135: Not authorized.
In errorl log can be found:
AMQ8135: Not authorized.
10:21:02 - Process(35916.1) User(MUSR_MQADMIN) Program(amqzlaa0.exe)
AMQ5520: The system could not load the module '<AMQPGMREGPATH>\bin\amqzfu.dll'
for the installable service 'AuthorizationService' component
'MQSeries.WindowsNT.auth.service'. The system return code was 536895861. The
Queue Manager is continuing without this component.

EXPLANATION:
The queue manager configuration data included a stanza for the installable
service 'AuthorizationService' component 'MQSeries.WindowsNT.auth.service' with
the module '<AMQPGMREGPATH>\bin\amqzfu.dll'. The system returned 536895861
when it tried to load this module. The Queue Manager is continuing without
this component.

amqzfu.dll is can be found in C:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere MQ\bin and mqm group have all permitions to this file.

any advice ??
regards
tsbanski

That's a very strange thing to have happened. I'm glad you fixed it.

I didn't get this. The path was already C:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere MQ\bin. Ans I can see the file amqzfu.dll there.

So basically what did you change that solved your problem?

The OP will be doing very well if he/she can remember after 6 years...
