Hi All,

I want to know about the Automated Testing Tool to test Message Flows in WMB. While searching in forum, I came to know about one tool called "Fitnesse".

http://www.mqseries.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=149020&sid=2b708da00a529b09e2a440dea1ce6c10

Is there any other tools to test flows?

Can anyone please threw some light on this.

Thanks in Advance.

If you do a 'quote' on the OP you can see his post but if you try a post that includes this 'quote' it appears as blank. Weird

Anyway... automated testing tools? How much do you want to automate?

I've stripped out most of the markup to see if that helps

What are your requirements of an automated testing tool?

Took me several goes to make the post work, so weird indeed! I'd treat it as a one off, if I were u!

Anyway, we are thinking of using a chunk of tools often used by the Java community - see Java Power Tools book - free on google. They are the usual opensource/free ones in this space.

In addition Jenkins now exists as the Hudson fork, and seems to be winning.

Also IH03 SupportPac has some really good tools in it too.

I'm sure there are commercial products too.

We create a standalone client, which provides the ability to meter transactional messages into the flows and measure several critera, such as latency, and transactions per second.

It is important to know what your SLA is. And when your systems falls out of compliance with your SLA.

Also, you will notice seemingly strange behaviour when the TPS rate ramps above what the flow can tolerate.

You will also want to send in a mix of transaction types. Not just one type of transaction. And the data within like transactions should be varied.

You want data inside your inbound messages to exercise all parts, happy path and non-happy path. Therefore, you need to send some messages in that you know will generate an exception. Verify that the exception is generated and the proper remediation process is invoked.

What was wrong with your post is setting the [/url] sign on the next line instead of on the same line at the end of the url without any blanks in between...
