Hi,
,
Could you please help me to add comments inside the xml (<!-- -->) by using ESQL.
I observed that '<' got converted into '&lt' .Is there any way to avoid this?

I suppose that you are not talking about adding a comment inside a field but about adding a comment field.
Look up the corresponding code for the corresponding parser. It works like an attribute or cdata field. (XMLNSC.Comment)

Have fun

Code:
SET OutputRoot.XMLNSC.myRootTag.(XMLNSC.Comment)anyNameYouLike = "Text of the comment";

This works however I see this at the end of the file.. Is there anyway we could enforce it to have it come in the beginning of the xml?

Don't use SET, use CREATE FIRSTCHILD OF OutputRoot.XMLNSC.myRootTag.

This is nothing to do with comments and is basic "how to build XML in ESQL"

The same way you control the location of any element in the logical message tree.
