Poorna,

I think your problem is coming from a Guardian-OSS name conflict (maybe). Can you read MQSINI file from OSS?

Investigate your environment setting, particularly MQDEFAULTPREFIX and MQMACHINIFILE (see in Appendix C).

Hi Tibor,
Thanks for your reply. i took long time because of other issues from my side.

following is what i got when i type param on TACL prompt.

$DATA1 ZMQSSYS 8> param
MQDEFAULTPREFIX .$DATA1.
MQEMSEVENTS .127.
MQMACHINIFILE .$DATA1.ZMQSSYS.MQSINI.
SAVE-ENVIRONMENT .ON.

i can read mqsini from oss. i do not think it's problem in reading mqsini file, as my java program which runns at command prompt(oss) able to connect to Qmgr and put/get the messages.

following is my mqsini file.
AllQueueManagers:
MQSVolume=$DATA1
MQSExePath=$DATA1.ZMQSEXE
QMDefaultVolume=$DATA1
ConvEBCDICNewline=NL_TO_LF
NSKSegidRange=10-20
QueueManager:
Name=QMNAME
QMVolume=$DATA1
QMSubvolume=QMGR000

please help.
Thanks,
Poorna

Poorna,

If you can handle your qmgr from OSS, your problem may be coming from ITP webserver setting. It was three years ago when I worked with ITP... but I think it runs under a Pathway environment. Have serverclasses got same parameters like shell knows?
