Does SSL got installed automatically while installing MQ? or Do we need to install it seperately.

And, how to check whether it is installed on a windows server or not?

Thanks.

Look at the IBM tree in the Registry.

If it was a silent install, the ini file provided will list the components to be installed. If it was an attended installation, you'll know what you chose to install, unless you didn't do it and are trying to trace back. If I get the time today, I have a Windows attended installation to do, so I'll be able to answer your question then.

The uninstaller will not ask you to uninstall components or modify components that are not installed.

The GSKit was automatically installed, even with custom installation selected.

The page includes the reg command for Windows platforms:
reg query "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\IBM\WebSphere MQ\Installation\Installation1\Components"
