MQ Experts...

I have a basic question on tranmit queue...

When I put a message on tranmit queue, I am not able to find out
where the message is going..

Trigg data "Channelname"
Process "system.channel.initq"

When I put message, channel is getting activated and running fine.

I did not find messages in destined queue manager...Actully I could not find where the messages is landing...Please let me now..

And also explain me How a remote Queue functions with xmitqueue?

Thanks

RTFM about distributed queuing? It probably expired, is sitting in a dead letter queue, or an application got it.

if you put it directly into the xmitq, without using a remotequeue definition, you will find your message in the local dead letter queue, if defined to the queuemanager. if not, the message will stay in the xmitq and the channel will go into retry state, until ... well, retries expired, message expired, message deletet or whatever...

You should never do this.

Not knowing the destination of a message (from an application perspective) is a strength of WMQ.

And then probably logs an error, if not an FDC

You sound surprised....

You'll find this very early on in the Intercommunication manual. Describing this as a basic question does not do justice to it
