I'm using MQSeries COM for programming.
I want to connect to a Queue Manager on a different machine using MQSeries Automation Classes for Active X Reference in Visual Basic 6.0

Should I use Active Directory Service to connect to a Remote Queue Manager?

Can any one provide sample code as I am new to MQ Series.

Thanks in Advance.

See the FAQ entry on this website. IF you have a queue manager installed on the local machine, you can not connect to a remote queue manager directly as a client using the COM interface.

I would stay away from Active Directory (personal preference).
