Hi,

Is there any way to show line numbers in the eSQL editting panel?

Best regards

Unfortunately, there isn't any facility to show line numbers within WMQI.

Tacky, but, if you have something like MSVC or another IDE pasting the ESQL in will help show you a problem line by number.

Alternatively (even more tacky), the MSDOS editor "EDIT" still lurks under NT and also has line numbering ...

If hunting for ESQL errors, people often miss the fact that the ESQL editor has a button you press to highlight code with syntax errors. This does not help though where you have an error whose context only becomes apparent to WMQI at deploy time, but is not checked by the build time syntax checker. Eg: list/scalar mismatches on "select" statements.
