Hi,

My control center runs out of memory really often and show me a warning window indicating to save the workspace. The control center is started by a windows bat file and the start line contain a parameter which limited the memory to 200Mb when my machine has 1 Gb.

Could I change this value without any risk?

Cheers,

Manuel

Hiya,

This used to be 100Mb... up to version 202.
Don't see why changing the value (within reason) would cause you any harm...

Cheers,

Ward.

I wouldn't change any parameter in the batch file. You can add a parameter in the registry to allow Control Center to use more memory by going to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\IBM\MQSeriesIntegrator\2\ControlCenter.
Add a new string value MaxJVMHeapSize with value 268435456.

Restart your Control Center after adding this value.

Hi, Kiran,

Do you mind I ask where I can find more information about this kind tuning parameters for WMQI? Are they hiden somewhere in manual? or is this from Microsoft?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your help. I look in my regedit and I couldn´t find some of your reference. For example, there is no MQSeriesIntegrator folder, but I suppose you meant WebSphereMQIntegrator. Also there is no ControlCenter folder. Do I need to create this folder?

Thanks in advance

My apology. It should be,
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\IBM\WebSphereMQIntegrator\CurrentVersion\Components\ControlCenter
