We have developed an MQ Browse First Java Plug In on WMQI 2.1 CSD1 on ZOS.
The Plugin works well on NT but throws an MQ error 2058 on ZOS ( Queuemanager Name-error ).
We cannot establish a connection to the Queuemanager of the broker using the Method MQQueueManager("BROKERQUEUEMANGER"); or MQQueueManager()
Both calls abort throwing MQException 2058...

Setup:
in the lil path of the broker: com.ibm.mq.*
shared mq-libs in d the LIBPATH of the broker.

Are you trying to connect in client mode or bindings mode? I didn't think that client mode was supported on 390. There is a table in the Using Java manual that lists what is and is not supported.
