Hi,

I have developed an application that retrieves parts lists from an IBM host computer to local NT workstations via a servlet that uses the IBM JMS classes (MA88). The data transfer has worked fine until the systems people updated the hosts default codepage from 273 to 1141 (containing the Euro symbol). Now every attempt to read a message sent by the host fails with exception "unsupported character set 1141". I confirmed this with the documentation and really, this codepage and all other codepages containing the Euro symbol are not supported. I think this is very annoying for all european customers. Does anyone know about this issue being taken care of at IBM or does anyone have a workaround at hand?

Kai
