Hi,
Quote:

Do you mean a new product or as a feature to an existing product?

We do not have any plans to develop a monitoring or administration tool for MQ in the near term. I tried to buy, license, etc. MQJExplorer but Mr. Koban has turned the code over to IBM and IBM has shelved it.

I can give you 2 really good reasons why I most likely will not develop a MQ Monitoring or Administration tool:
(1) This is the area where the all of the big play: IBM Tivoli, CA, BMC, contact admin, MQSoftware, Reconda, etc.

(2) Plus there are lots of free (& good) MQ Admin tools: MQJExplorer, SupportPac MO71, WMQTool, etc.

So, it is extremely hard to justify why I would spend 1000 hours of my time developing a MQ Admin tool, only then begin to fight to market it.

I would rather pick an area of MQ that is under-served by the industry and develop good tools for that particular area.

Now if you meant 'am I going to add monitoring or administration to MQ Visual Edit' then the answer is no to administration and maybe monitoring for MQ Visual Edit.

New MQ Visual Edit Tools:
1.) Queue Monitor Tool. It will display a list of queues that is being monitored. It auto-refreshes and the display is very smooth and flicker-free.

2.) Queue Stats Monitor Tool. It will display the queue statistics for a list of queues. It auto-refreshes and the display is very smooth and flicker-free.
