Has anyone come across any facts or figures regarding the number of DB connections that MQSI holds based on the number of flows, execution groups, brokers.
We are in a situation where we have about 20 flows, two instances of each in separate brokers. We are experiencing around 100 permanent DB connections to a remote ORACLE DB (The broker database tables are also on the same DB instance)

Secondly does anyone know if MQSI can be configured so that flows that are inactive after a period of time will release these DB connections without impacting the ability of the flow to reconnect when a new message arrives on its input queue.

Many thanks
