Hi ,
We are currently testing one interface going throught MQSI and the receiving system is getting different characters(eg |||) for data which are supposed to be spaces.
The input data is having spaces for some feilds.
We tried and tried and found out that it made a difference when we had NUL or SPACE as padding character for the field. Reading blank fields as NUL would output data correctly on the queue -- or as X20 (' ' in Text, ' ' in Hexadecimal). However, if fields were read or padded as SPACE, or as X00 (' ' in Text, '.' in Hexadecimal), it gets to the receiving side as a weird character.
And for some feilds we need to apply the vice-versa.
How to predict this SPACE or NUL. All the elements are defined as string.
In both the cases I am sending the inputdata which has spaces, Whenever I get weird character I am chaning the padding character to SPacE if it is already NUL and viceversa.
