Could anyone tell where one could get NEON adapter for SAP R/3?

Sybase took over NEON last year, you can still get this product. Get in touch with them.

Important note. There is a user exit called from the NEON adapter when it takes a message from SAP and puts on to MQSeries. As-is this this exit puts the MQRFH.CCSID value to '0'. This is okay on version 5.1, however on 5.2 it will cause poroblems. You'll need to get them to give you a version of the exit which puts MQRFH.CCSID to '-2' (Inherit queue managers value).

Alternatively, you can configure the adapter to output RFH2 headers, which it does correctly.
