Hi,

I have a Windows 98 MQSeries client machine which will connect to the MQSeries Server on AIX. According to the manual, I've defined a server connection channel (SVRCONN) and a client connection channel (CLNCONN) in the MQSeries Server for AIX.

Then, I copied the channel definition table (MQCHLTAB) from the AIX machine to the Windows 98 machine and setup the 2 environment variables, MQCHLLIB and MQCHLTAB in the Windows 98 machine to point to the MQCHLTAB.

Is my procedure correct? I have a concern, since the file MQCHLTAB is from AIX, is it ok to copy it to the Windows 98 platform?

Please advise.

Thanks,
