I've configured an MQSeries cluster consisting of 4 queue managers.

The problem i'm facing in this configuration is that the cluster channels become inactive after some time.

These configuration is done for a demo to be given to our potential clients .. but i dont think we should be starting the channels every time

Is there any way that I can have these channels running whenever a message is to be send?

I've tried setting my disconnect interval to 0 which means never disconnect but still the channels dont run after some time

Do reply .... Its urgent

Thanks
Sony

Hi Sony,

Channels would never come down all by themselves, unless something went wrong or there was some configuration parameter missing/not set.
I would first check the error log to see what error message it shows relating to the channels. And did these channels stop abnormally. Is the listener at the other end up and running. Do the channels come up all by themselves after a while. Are you able to start the channel manually.
Think, looking into these questions might get you there.
Cheers
Kumar
