Hi,
Seding messages from NT to AS/400 and AS/400 to NT,we need to convert one format to other format. So what are the possible solutions like...sending side program conversition or receiving side or any encoding?...Right now we are using "Format" filed as MQSTR to send as well as receive messages.
Thanks,
Venkat Kurra

On the sending side (doesn't matter which one) set the format of the message to MQSTR. This parameter is ignored on the GET.

On the recieving side (doesn't matter which one) specify the convert option on the GET call.

Leave the Coded Character Set ID set to MQCCSI_Q_MGR.
