When you pass a COMMAREA using CTG, the limit I believe is about 24k. IBM states that it is 32k, however it seems performance is degraded when the area is greater than 24k. When using the MQ CICS bridge, I realize a COMMAREA is created by the CICS DPL task and passed to the user program in CICS. Is there a limit to this area?
