Hi,

We have recently moved one of our Full Repository QM's from one AIX box to another. How do I change the CLUSSDR channels in order to pick up the new ip address..? The moved QM is up and running however all the other QM's in the cluster are not picking up the new ip details even though we have changed this in each CLUSSDR definition.
Any ideas...?

Did you change the CLUSRCVR on the moved QM to have the new IP address? That channel definition is what is actually used to make the automatic CLUSSNDRs from all the other QMs to the mobved QMs. The manual CLUSSNDRs on all the other QMs are used for the initial handshake with the moved QM, and then never again (unless you issue REFRESH REPOS YES).

If the CLUSRCVR on the moved QM is wrong, so will every auto CLUSSNDR channel trying to get to it.

Also read up on Problem 4 in Chapeter 9 of the Cluster Manual. It explains your problem as well.
