Hi,

I am using C MQI to publish and subscriber messages to and from a JMS application.
JMS applicatin sends messages with RFH2 header and I handle it accordingly to
get the messages.
In case of publication I am not sending RFH2, instead only MQMD & RFH header
along with the user payload. JMS application seems to be working fine in the
absence of RFH2 header.

Questions.
1- Do we HAVE to send RFH2 header for JMS ?
2- Does the application have to set CorrelId( I do not know any use of it in
my application), UserIdentifier,ApplIdentityData ?
I am using MQMD_DEFAULT header for the above parameters & it seems to
be working fine.

Best Regards
Bilal

Hi,

answer for both questions: no, if you just want a plain
point-to-point communication. If RFH2 is missing JMS
message properties will be set to default values.
CorrelId is only needed in request-reply szenarios.
