I am interested in how other sites manage their queue backups on a UNIX platform such as AIX.

We have a requirement for a "point in time" backup of several queues associated with our MQSI broker.

Our temporary solution is to stop the broker and queue manager and backup the disks once a day (during the night).

What other methods are possible and how many sites backup queues without stopping the queue manager or entire broker?
