Terms: Corp to Corp (only applicable for consultants who are legally permitted to work in the USA and are residents of the USA)

The client requires a consultant skilled in WebSphere Commerce Suite migrations:

â€¢ Experience with migration effort from WebSphere Commerce Suite Pro Edition version 5.1 to version 5.5 on the AIX platform.

â€¢ In-depth knowledge of WCS 5.5 and be able to make recommendation for integrating more of our site into "out of the box" WCS functions. Knowledge of the Catalog Manager and how we may be able to implement this feature into the product/catalog updates.

â€¢ Ability to take on lead technical role in the migration effort of our development, testing, staging and production servers. This will require an in-depth understanding of WCS 5.1 and 5.5, the details of how this migration needs to take place, and the ability to perform pieces of the migration with the aid of existing development and system administration staff.

â€¢ In-depth knowledge of Visual Age for Java and WebSphere Studio Application Developer.
Ability to mentor existing development staff on use of WSAD.
Ability to configure WSAD test environment that would allow us to use MQ on our workstations for testing.

â€¢ Knowledge of WCS 5.6 and future direction of WCS. Be able to provide recommendations on the possible transition to WCS 5.6 instead of 5.5.
