Job Description:
You will evaluate the MQ needs for eWFM, design a deployment strategy, and deliver an architecture recommendation. Strategy should include vision of working with queues on the legacy systems as well as deployment of a distributed MQ environment to support distributed operations for us.
Install & configure queues for eWFM project in development & test labs. ·Review other sites' queue manager(s) attributes very thoroughly, and devise the configuration for the message channels in the development & test labs are able to talk to other MQ Servers.
Additional Information: ·Provide technical leadership for supporting MQ across our distributed environments. Individual should have a very good understanding of distributed MQ, and designing applications which specifically that benefit from distributed messaging. ·Assist in gathering detailed information on the application and infrastructure of current projects where MQ will be the Business Integration component for the application.
Establish recommendations and guidelines for the development, test, operations and application support environments. ·Provide information needed to assess the risk of production deployment of a business critical application: installation and configuration readiness, performance and scalability evaluation, stability and durability evaluation, and best practices procedures. ·Assess the processes that will be used to operate, support and maintain the Enterprise implementation(s) .
Immediate needs will be to scope the requirements for the eworkforce management (eWFM) application, and design a deployment architecture that will easily scale to fit into an enterprise scope. ·Assist in determining overall hardware and software configuration, middleware, and host legacy systems involved with MQ, and set a 5 year plan for support of growing operations. ·Needs to be extensible to changing platform requirements or other advancements in the distributed computing model. ·Assist in determining Service Level Agreements (SLA’s), for immediate needs/deployments, and enterprise SLA’s to support ongoing operations, if any. ·Develop performance, scalability, and durability evaluations.
6-12 month contracts. Contract to hire.
