Hi,

Yes, it can.

Since the message is of format 'MQXMIT', (a known format to MQ Visual Edit), it will create an extra tab on the SimpleMessageEdit window so that you can view it in a nicely formatted window.

Here's what it would look like:

Roger:

I was asked whether MQVE can do this.

If I have some messages struck in a XMITQ to QMGR1. For some reason, QMGR1 is down and I want to replay the messages to another XMITQ on QMGR2.

I said MQVE will do this. Can you confirm.

Hi,

Yes, you can move messages from one XMITQ queue to another XMITQ. But you may need to manually update the the Q or QMgr names in the Transmission header. Becuase, MQVE would have no idea what they would be called. Note: Use the Hex Data tab and not the 'Raw Data' tab to do this.
