Hi ,

I have a fair knowledge of MQ Cluster .

Our current production environement , we need to implement MQ Cluster . Production system contains 1 QM which will be listeneing to all the other Queue Manager (almost around 32 queue managers) .

We need to implement Cluster for this . Means we need to design Cluster , implement Failover and Load Balancing.

Could anybody please give me dtls on Failover and Loadbalancing .

I have checked out Sample programs given with Mq , they are not that much satisfactory .

Any working code or link would be really appreciated .

Thanx in advance .

Balaji

I couldn't really determine from your question if you are looking to use MQSeries clustering or traditional hardware/software clustering (like Veritas, etc). Are you saying you'd like the 32 + 1 queue managers to all be in an MQ cluster such that any queue manager can communicate with any other?

There´s a lot of things to consider. You need to think about the network traffic, which QMs will be the repositories (high recommended that you have at least two), queues shareable, loading balancing of channels and queues... well, I recommend you to read Queue Managers Cluster manual, you will find some precious information there.
I didn´t understand why you are looking for sample programs, once you have a cluster environment, it will provide you the load balancing and failover, not the applications.
