Hi,
I'm trying to coordinate an MQ (5.2) message with some DB2 updates using a session bean running under Websphere.
At the moment I'm using the standard JMS classes (ie MQQueueConnectionFactory, QueueConnection, QueueSession etc ) and the transaction doesn't appear to part of the global transaction. If the transacted flag on the createQueueSession method is false, it's gets commited immediately, if it's true it never gets commited. How do I associate the MQ stuff with the global transaction to accomplish a 2 phase commit?

As an aside (and a long shot!) the MQ message will be picked up by a mainframe and used to update an IMS DB, is it possible to also have that forming part of the global transaction?

Thanks for any help

Dave.
