Hi people.

I've spent a couple of weeks playing with the Java API for the MQSeries, and it appears (and some post on this board seem to concur) that java API Client connections are insecure because the user it passes to the MQServer isn't validated in any way.

I was wondering if its possible to configure an MQServer so that it refuses to connect to Java API client connections, so that the server remains secure.

If this isn't possible how can the system be secure?

thanks

dan
