hi,
i want to create a generic flow for error handling, how to use exception list in compute node, i tried but i am not getting any exception messages in error queue, if some error occurs message is passing to error queue, but i want to pass the exception list and message, like reason code, and etc., what are the nodes i have to use.
Thanks in advance.
Chandra.

There's a previous discussion of this:
What is Your Error Handling Design for Message Flows, Bob, 2001-10-30 02:20.

To your specific question, have you modified the compute mode on your Compute node so that the ExceptionList will pass through it?

From the Control Center help:
"The Advanced view lets you choose which compute mode you will use to process information being passed through the Compute node. The compute mode lets you choose which combination of message, destination, and exception are generated and modified by the Compute node. Those components not included in your selection are passed on unchanged: even if you make modifications to those components the updates are local to this node."

Sandman

If I understand your question, perhaps the Using The Control Center manual can help. In the Appendix, on p. 380, "Figure 84. Retrieving the exception error code" shows an ESQL code snippet. I began w/ this and elaborated for our needs.

Hope this helps,
Sandman
