Wanted to see if the following idea was feasible (and how I can do it if it is):

Scenario: Given a cluster comprised of three queue managers spanning three machines (one manager on each box). One queue needs to be common too all three managers in the sense that messages put from any of the managers - on their different boxes - can be gotten (GET) from any of the other queue managers' instances of the same queue.

For example, if QM#1 put message to the queue, QM#2 and QM#3 have instant access to that same message in their definition of the queue.

Is this possible?

Appreciate hearing from any and all.

'Fraid not. The concept of clustering is more about sending messgaes.

You can ONLY get a message that is on a local queue to the queue manager you are connected to.

Cheers,

You would have to modify your putting app to put to QM1, and QM2 and QM3 at the same time. No point in clustering from the requirements you have posted.
