We've got a broker running on AIX using Oracle and all looks well except that I get the following message in the syslog every time we start the broker:


BIP2300E: '/usr/opt/mqsi/lil/imbdfdb2v5.lil' could not be loaded; operating system return code 'No such file or directory'. : STMQ02.8e623402-ea00-0000-0080-b71431bc7d81: /build/S202_P/src/DataFlowEngine/DataFlowDLL/Unix/ImbLibrary.cpp: 74: ImbLibrary::ImbLibra
ry: :

We also get another message the same except referring to file imbdfdb2v6.lil.

Both files seem to be there.

Any ideas ?

This seems to be a common problem with Oracle on AIX - I think IBM are looking into this.
It doesn't seem to affect the way MQSI runs, except for putting that annoying message in the syslog all the time.
My advice - either conatct IBM to confirm or ignore it !
